Growing up in North Wales has cemented my love for the outdoors and the natural world. When deciding what to study at university, it was a 50/50 split between Science and Geography! When I decided to study Science, I fed my love of geography through travelling while I was studying.

I began teacher training as a Teacher of Science. Fast forward 8 years and I’ve taught GCSE and A Level Science Environmental Science and Geography, as well as led Science departments through 5 different exam seasons. I have taught GCSE and A Level Geography for 6 years in total across 2 different exam boards.

When I’m not working, I am outdoors. Either I’m hiking mountains, walking trails with my dog Percy or I’m in the gym. As someone who has an innate love for nature, I’m never happier than when I’m out in it! On the rainy days when the outdoors just isn’t possible, I’m an avid lego builder!
