As cliché as it sounds, there is nothing more powerful than knowledge, and therefore, I have always loved reading and the Arts. I studied Drama at university and I loved performing, devising and learning about new texts from far and wide. After university, I went on to become an English teacher; I wanted to inspire. The study of English is political, contextual, historical, social and so vitally important - I hope I can share my love of the written word with all of you!

Outside of work, I love to travel. There is no feeling like discovering a new cuisine or finally seeing the mountain that you've seen so many times on Instagram in real life. I urge you to broaden your horizons and go and see what our fabulous planet has to offer!
