Liz

Maths was always my favourite subject at school - I enjoyed being about to apply a set of logical steps and processes to solve a complex problem. I never wanted to stop solving maths problems and so after completing a maths degree I decided to become a teacher and share the joy of maths with my students.

I have taught all areas of secondary school maths but my favourite areas are always algebra and mechanics. I believe everyone can be successful in maths, and I pride myself on being able to explain even the most complicated of topics so that all students can understand.

When I’m not teaching I love applying my problem solving skills to escape rooms and I have a pretty good record of getting out in time!  I’m not all about puzzles though, I also love to be outside by the sea or on the Moors with my crazy cockapoo Teddy!
